We specialize in home-based therapy services for children, adolescents, and adults who have sustained brain, spinal, and other neurological or orthopedic injuries. Whether it be a recent trauma or an old injury, we can help at any stage of the recovery process.

Speech-Language Pathology

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for promoting the highest level of language functioning, motor speech, swallowing, and cognitive skills. The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and develops a treatment plan to address:
  • Speaking
  • Thinking
  • Reasoning
  • Understanding and processing language in both written and spoken form

The therapist will work with the client on becoming more functional in their home and community. Compensatory strategies are developed to accommodate challenges. The Speech-Language Pathologist assists with the establishment of interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary goals.

Occupational Therapy

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for promoting the highest level of independence and will evaluate and develop a treatment plan to address:
  • Daily living
  • Range of motion
  • Gross and fine motor coordination of the upper extremities
  • Deficits in visual perceptual skills

Additionally, the Occupational Therapist may fabricate splints and make recommendations for adaptive equipment. Our therapists are also trained in cranio-sacral, myofascial, and manual therapy.

The therapist will work with the client on becoming more functional in their home and community. Compensatory strategies may be developed to accommodate challenges. The Occupational Therapist may assist with the establishment of interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary goals.

Physical Therapy

  • Mobility

Social Work

The Social Worker is responsible for:
  • The evaluation and treatment of psychosocial functioning
  • Providing individual and/or group counseling
  • Addressing issues related to the client’s loss

The Social Worker may assist clients in adjustment issues and crisis intervention and may assist with the development of interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary goals.

The therapist will work with the client on becoming more functional in their home and community. Compensatory strategies may be developed to accommodate challenges. The Occupational Therapist may assist with the establishment of interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary goals.

Recreational Therapy

The Recreational Therapist is responsible for promoting the highest level of independence as it relates to leisure skills and community re-integration. The recreational therapist will evaluate and develop a treatment plan to address these issues and can provide evaluations for sports safety. These activities may need to be adapted to suit the client’s level of functioning and abilities. The Recreational Therapists may assist with the development of interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary goals.
